Bobby Moore

Bobby Moore taught fifth grade in West Baltimore for four years with Teach For America. As an educator, he wanted to create a platform for his students to showcase and fund their academic needs and passions. Bobby spearheaded the initial development of SOAR during his last year of teaching with the help of more than 100 teachers, students, and parents. He was selected as a cohort member for the Johns Hopkins Social Innovation Lab, and was a recipient of the Maryland’s Top Twenty in Their Twenties award, the TFA – Symantec Game Changing Innovation Award, and the Henry Ford Education Innovation Award. Bobby holds a Masters in Urban Education from Johns Hopkins University and was a Baltimore City Schools CEO Fellow at the Office of Achievement and Accountability. During his free time, he enjoys playing soccer and camping.
