Byron Barnes, Senior Vice President, Global Commercial Banking, Bank of America

Byron C. Barnes is a Senior Vice President in Global Commercial Banking at Bank of America, where he leads teams that deliver strategic financing, investment banking, risk management, and other banking solutions to companies. He is a globally-minded professional who has lived and worked in North America, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific.

Prior to Bank of America, Mr. Barnes was a Vice President at Wells Fargo in middle market banking. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Mr. Barnes held credit and client management roles at PNC Bank. Earlier in his career, he worked in reinsurance brokerage, insurance underwriting, and risk management consulting.

Mr. Barnes received his undergraduate degrees in finance and Spanish from Oakwood University, where he graduated magna cum laude. He earned his M.B.A. from the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business at the University of Rochester, where he was a Robert Toigo Foundation Fellow.

Mr. Barnes has served on various non-profit boards and is an active member of the Association for Corporate Growth.
