Gretchen Haga (she/her) is an experienced storyteller passionate about elevating the voices in the social impact space. At Halcyon, she works across the organization and with key partners and supporters to create and amplify stories of global innovation via Halcyon’s communications and digital media platforms.

She joined Halcyon team in 2023 after graduating Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Boston College with a major in Communications and minors in Journalism and History. During her college years, she developed a passion for leveraging communications mediums to harness impact, researching and writing an honors thesis on empowering mental health care-seeking through television narratives and rhetorical devices.

Gretchen held several previous communications positions, including interning with Warner Bros. Discovery, serving on the Editorial Board of her college’s independent student newspaper, managing the digital communications for a local politician, and doing freelance social media management for a podcast marketing start-up company, Waveform Social, which included work on mental health and wellness podcasts.
