Gretchen Haga (she/her) is an experienced storyteller passionate about elevating the voices and work in the social impact space. She joined Halcyon team as a Digital Communications Coordinator in 2023 after graduating Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Boston College with a major in Communications and minors in Journalism and History. It was during her time in college that she developed a passion for leveraging communications mediums to harness impact, researching and writing an honors thesis on empowering mental health care-seeking through television narratives and rhetorical devices.

Gretchen also held several communications positions during her college years, including interning with Warner Bros. Discovery, serving on the Editorial Board of her college’s independent student newspaper, managing the digital communications presence for a local politician, and doing freelance social media management for a podcast marketing start-up company, Waveform Social, which included work on mental health and wellness podcasts.
