As an intern for Halcyon, Jiwoo Kim supports the events team in the development, outreach, planning, and execution of Halcyon’s many events. She came to Halcyon to gain technical work skills, engage with international professionals, and enhance her experience by assisting with event planning and fundraising.

Prior to Halcyon, Jiwoo was in the EICC (English for International Conferences & Communications) department at the Hankuk University of Foreign Language in Korea, where she learned translation and interpretation skills from English to Korean and global business skills.

In her spare time, Jiwoo enjoys listening to music while walking around downtown DC, going to concerts, and collecting unique souvenirs while traveling.
