As an intern for the Halcyon Incubator, Sayumi Kinoshita supports the programs teams and fellows in the day-to-day operations. She came to Halcyon to gain experience and involvement in assisting start-ups and fundraising, and to reconsider the the connection between universities and society. Prior to joining Halcyon, Sayumi worked at　the Administration Bureau of Kyoto University in Japan, where she managed regulations of the university and was involved in institutional research to analyze trends and improve the management of the organization. In her downtime, Sayumi enjoys working out—especially running around DC—and visiting local restaurants.
