Tsia Blacksher is a Program Coordinator on Halcyon’s Sourcing, Selections, and Alumni team.

She began her career as a Case Worker at a non-profit organization in San Francisco, where she worked to combat juvenile recidivism rates.

After graduating from Spelman College with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Tsia transitioned into the role of a Program Coordinator, where she served as an education mentor to underrepresented students. In this capacity, she provided guidance and support, helping students navigate obstacles and succeed in their academic pursuits.

Recognizing the importance of connecting talented individuals with opportunities, Tsia then took on the role of a Recruiter for an international talent company. In this position, she utilized her understanding of diverse backgrounds and experiences to match skilled professionals with positions that aligned with their goals and aspirations.

In her free time, Tsia loves to chill with her dog Simba, cook, and explore DC.
