Program Coordinator, Halcyon’s Residential Accelerator

Location:Â Washington, DC
Status: Exempt Full-Time
Salary Range:Â $55,000-$65,000 (commensurate with experience)
Join Halcyon as the Program Coordinator and support the design and implementation of the programming for social entrepreneurs primarily on the Residential Accelerator team.
Halcyon supports early-stage, impact-driven entrepreneurs working in Climate, Health, and EquityTech. We host both global and domestic fellows and run regional fellowships in Latin America and the Caribbean as well as in Africa. Through tailored training, mentorship, and non-dilutive resources, we’ve helped over 570 fellows launch and scale ventures that have positively impacted millions of lives.
This position serves a key coordination role, working with Halcyon Fellows, mentors, leadership coaches, advisors, and partners to create an environment where Fellows can thrive, and their ventures can scale. The Program Coordinator will play a significant role in supporting the recruitment and selection of the Fellows and will work with the wider Halcyon team to support the measurement and evaluation of these programs. The Program Coordinator also plays a key role in expanding network reach and managing the engagement of external stakeholders.

What We Need:
Residential Accelerator Program Coordination:Â
- Support the planning and preparation of core programming for fellows, including developing new ways to support the fellows’ ventures, drafting outreach to programming partners, and coordinating activities with multiple stakeholders
- Manage the logistics of program execution, creating a frictionless experience for all stakeholders, and provide timely follow-up to all programming
- Monitor and strengthen the relationships between fellows and mentors, advisors, leadership coaches, and partners
- Provide individualized support to current fellows by acting as a connector, confidant, and empathetic ear
- Prepare, maintain, and present reports that are necessary to carry out departmental functions, including periodic reports to management as required or requested
- Manage and streamline logistics (housing, travel, meetings, etc.) for Halcyon’s Residential Accelerator
- Coordinate advisor and mentor office hours
- Design, conduct, and analyze surveys to assess program effectiveness and recommend changes to enhance the programming
- Attend startup community events to support Halcyon’s engagement in the startup community
Program Application and Selection:
- Contribute to the selections process by reading and scoring applications for potential fellows
- Organize and execute finalist pitch days
- Support fellowship application review and selection process
- Coordinate onboarding of selections committee and ensure the selection committee has the necessary information to review potential fellows and meet Halcyon timelines
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- At least two years of the work experience below or a combination of work experiences:
- Program and/or project experience with an incubator, accelerator, startup, or entrepreneurial program
- Startup investment firm, such as VC, Angel groups, etc.
- Founding an organization or company
- Experience with professional adult education, capacity and skill building, workshops, etc.
- Ability to work in-person at Halcyon to facilitate programming
- Ability to work evenings or weekends as required by program responsibilities

Schedule and Work Environment
- 8-hour shift, standard working hours are 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
- Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed
- Work Location: Hybrid in Washington, DC 20007, with three days in the office and two days remote. Halcyon also offers two weeks of ‘Work from Anywhere’ time as an additional benefit.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, comfortable with standing, climbing stairs, walking and sitting.
- Some domestic and international travel may be required, up to 10%.
