This year, Halcyon launched its first-ever Middle East North Africa cohort with 18 ventures across 8 countries.  These ventures are each working to create positive social impact in their different spheres. For social impact startups like our fellows, access to investments can be a challenge due to market size and limited access to impact investment organizations.

To face this challenge, Halcyon MENA is hosting a panel discussion on the MENA region’s current investing landscape in a public programming webinar, Early Stage Investing in MENA, on November 16th. Our panel will discuss the obstacles social impact entrepreneurs face and the resources available to help entrepreneurs scale their businesses.

Our panel includes Reem Goussous, Chief Growth Officer at Village Capital, Aly El Shalakany, venture capitalist and board chairman of The Cairo Angels and Ali Dreidi, CFA, Former COO of datablock.
