Daniel Rodríguez was born and raised in Mexico City, the youngest son in a traditional family of five. He studied biology and earned a Master’s Degree and PhD in biochemical sciences. While he developed strong scientific and technical skills, Daniel did not find his passion in academia, as the science he developed did not have as much impact. So, at the end of his doctorate, he went to work in private industry for several years, developing management and supervision skills of processes and people. However, he still did not find the freedom he was looking for. Finally, Daniel found everything he was looking for in entrepreneurship—the impact of the science he likes to develop, the freedom to make decisions, and a path full of passion and motivation.
