
Elsa Gayle Zekeng
Elsa is a scientist, entrepreneur, and policy advocate. She has a B.Sc. in Molecular Biology with a year in industry and a Ph.D in Infectious Disease and Global Health. She completed her Ph.D with seven academic publications with two of them in Nature. She is founder of SökerData, a pioneering health data intelligence company that aggregates, curates, and provides insights specifically from datasets from underrepresented groups (women and Black and ethnic minority communities). She was nicknamed ‘The Science-Entrepreneur’ by Forbes Africa and has been recognized as one of 25 top female innovators in Europe by TFN Funding News.
