Holly Diamond

With over a decade of experience in recruiting, workforce development, and small business leadership, Holly Oh Diamond has built her career around advocating for inclusive hiring and expanding access to economic opportunity. As the former CEO of DHD Consulting, Holly led nationwide staffing efforts for clients in manufacturing, construction, and logistics—often serving immigrant-owned businesses and overlooked workforces. Her firsthand exposure to hiring inequities, language barriers, and inefficient systems inspired her to reimagine what workforce technology could look like for underserved communities. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Holly launched Mr. Mista Oh, a family-owned Korean restaurant in Manhattan, to support her parents after they lost their jobs. This experience deepened her understanding of the challenges small business owners face in recruiting and retaining talent. It also became a turning point that led to the creation of WorkOnward—a map-based hiring platform designed to simplify local hiring for hourly workers and small businesses alike.

A first-generation college graduate and immigrant from Korea, Holly brings a unique perspective to the Future of Work conversation. Her mission is to create systems where small employers and workers from marginalized backgrounds can thrive—not just survive. At the intersection of technology, empathy, and economic mobility, Holly’s work empowers job seekers with accessible tools and empowers small business owners with community-driven hiring solutions. She continues to build toward a more inclusive workforce—one job, one small business, and one neighborhood at a time.
