Kelvin Ashie
Kelvin Ashie is a technology entrepreneur and innovation consultant. In 2019, Kelvin cofounded Health Direct Global, a health-tech startup based in Ghana that builds and provides digital healthcare infrastructure and services for patients and healthcare providers. Their flagship product, Carely, is a platform that allows users to access timely and affordable healthcare whilst building critical personal medical data history that helps them to enjoy a continuous, convenient healthcare lifestyle outside the hospital walls. Health Direct integrates with healthcare industry stakeholders such as healthcare providers, insurance companies, and pharmaceutical companies to provide value-added products and services.
The platform has helped improve access to affordable healthcare by working with a network of healthcare providers to increase timely access and reduce costs through an efficient technology-powered platform.
As Curator of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Accra Hub, Kelvin has volunteered and implemented high-impact projects in entrepreneurship and employment, climate change, mental health, gender, diversity, and inclusion.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Technology and Management from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana.
