Kobby Osei-Kusi is the founder & CEO of Pirl Technology, a startup developing next-generation electric vehicle charging products. He serves on the board of D+R International, a Maryland-based energy services company, and the State of Maryland’s Clean Energy Center Advisory Council. He’s a Principal Advisor of the Larta Institute where he advises SBIR awardees. He’s the executive director of the Osei Kusi Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing educational assistance to disabled students in Africa. Before founding Pirl, he developed power plants at the AES Corporation, and before AES, he was an investment banker at Credit Suisse. He holds a BA in Economics from St. Lawrence University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He enjoys running and writing.
