Laurel Djoukeng
Laurel Djoukeng was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in the metropolitan area. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Hampton University and an MBA from Duke University. During his time at Duke, Laurel launched Sparc, an innovative marketplace that combines AI technology with the future of work and talent. Sparc enables direct connections between college students, professionals, and hiring managers, facilitating job placements and on-demand recruiting events. Additionally, individuals can earn money through coaching opportunities on the platform.
In 2011, Laurel also established the Catalyst Network Foundation Inc., a 501(c)3 social enterprise. This foundation is dedicated to providing year-round professional development and college preparatory workshops for thousands of students, aiming to equip them with the necessary skills for success.
