Múkami Kinoti Kimotho is CEO and Chief Girl Crusader of Royelles Gaming for Girls. Royelles mobile app-based learning adventures, powered by AR, AI, and Voice technologies, are anchored in fierce female avatars and real-life super(s)heroes in STEAM. Múkami is on a mission to ignite 1million+ Girls to take their rightful place as trailblazers blazers, ceiling smashers, and disruptors in STEAM. She is leading the charge in creating a safe, inclusive metaverse that creates value for young gamers beyond entertainment. By tackling some of the greatest challenges facing Gen Alpha around mental health, self-esteem, and limiting mindsets that are disproportionately impacting girls, particularly those from underserved communities. Múkami has 25+ years of experience in Journalism & DEI, including 5+ years Leading Global DEI Strategies for an F200 company and 7+ years of independent consulting with senior executives of F100 technology companies. She has served on the BOD of Women Thrive Alliance and The Women & Girls Foundation and is a proud advocate on issues spanning Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Leadership Development, Gender Equity, Child Survival, STEAM Education, and the Sustainability of the Arts, among others. Múkami holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from the United States International University, San Diego, California, and a Master’s in Organizational Development and Communications from the University of Denver, Colorado.
