Oluwatomisin Kolawole
Oluwatomisin is a Doctor and Biomedical Engineer passionate about using the power of innovation and entrepreneurship to drive social impact and development in Africa. He was a United Nations MCN’s Campus Director at the University of Ibadan, where he led and trained 20 social impact enthusiasts on innovation, social impact, and leadership.
Oluwatomisin is currently the CEO at Vinsighte, a digital-health company which uses artificial intelligence to aid visually impaired persons to read and navigate their environment independently. He oversees partnership cultivation and mapping out structures and strategies for growth and development at Vinsighte. Under his leadership, Vinsighte has grown across Nigeria with over 5,000 visually impaired beneficiaries.
In 2019, Oluwatomisin was awarded the RUFORUM top 20 young entrepreneurs in West Africa award, and in 2021, the Commonwealth Innovation Award for sustainable development in honor of Vinsighte’s social impact in Africa.
