Pamela Shaddock
Pamela Shaddock is the President and co-founder of Coils to Locs, a social impact enterprise that addresses a healthcare disparity: the lack of coily, curly wigs at cancer center hospitals that can be purchased with health insurance reimbursement. Prior to Coils to Locs, she was an administrative professional at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California (RMHCSC). In addition to Coils to Locs she is a professional film, TV, and stage actress. During her time at RMHCSC, she helped with the company’s efforts to increase annual fundraising goals, decrease in-house spending by engaging with new vendors, and shrink their carbon footprint with a mostly digital file system. She is a graduate of Adelphi University in New York, where she majored in Theatre Arts and currently lives in Boston with her family. When sheβs not keeping busy with Coils to Locs co-founder duties, including co-leading their free health, wellness and beauty workshops for cancer survivors and caregivers, she can be found at a live theatre or music venue or reading a good personal development book.
