Romina is passionately driven by the environment and seeks to develop sustainable and earth-friendly solutions focused on design and innovation. Alongside her studies at UC Berkeley, she worked on carbon capture research together with a leading scientist in the field, Jeffery Reimer.

FoodWare was born through her first-hand experience managing a fast food restaurant where single-use items were thrown away by the minute. Since then, she committed herself to tackling the issue and leading the way with sustainable solutions. As a sustainability advocate, Romina continues to inspire individuals to become more sustainability oriented in their daily lives and to bring awareness to the underlying issues around environmental pollution.
