Shawn Lee is the Co-Founder of Roxxem, an AI-powered platform that helps language teachers bring their lessons to life with music. Shawn believes learning should be meaningful, fun, and personal, and is passionate about building technology that makes that possible.

Before starting Roxxem, Shawn worked in private equity and product at Meta, where he focused on AI and machine learning tools. Shawn has always been drawn to roles where he can help people grow, connect, and thrive. He studied political science at the University of Notre Dame, and then went on to earn his MBA from Chicago Booth, where he focused on entrepreneurship. Both experiences helped shape how he thinks about building companies that are both mission-driven and scalable. Outside of work, Shawn loves salsa dancing, staying active, and exploring new neighborhoods. Shawn cares deeply about social impact, and he brings that mindset into everything he builds.
