Tara Marshall-Hill
Tara Marshall-Hill is the Founder and CEO of Sindano Health, a social impact data analytics and technology company developing human-centered machine learning solutions to address mental health inequities for the LGBTQ+ communities, through racial equity lens. Though she has had a diverse 20+-year career in the legal industry, Tara’s true passion is facilitating equity and empowerment for people of color, the LGBTQ+ community and neurodiverse BIPOC in the areas of mental health, spirituality and entrepreneurship. Over the past several years, she has delivered talks and workshops on these topics, with a focus on empowering community-driven solutions in an effort to shift the power of decision-making and impact. Prior to launching Sindano Health, she led the product marketing efforts of H5, a legal tech SaaS company that was later acquired by Lighthouse Global. It was during her time at H5 where Tara learned more about the capabilities of artificial intelligence and deep learning technologies to improve business and legal outcomes at scale. Realizing the potential AI had for enhancing similar, scalable outcomes in social systems, such as healthcare, Tara launched Sindano Health. With the adoption of artificial intelligence applications in the digital transformation of healthcare underway, Tara is currently leading efforts through Sindano Health, in partnership with community stakeholders, to extend the benefits of machine learning to address mental health inequities facing the LGBTQ+, BIPOC and other marginalized communities. She is a graduate of University of Maryland Baltimore County, where she earned a B.A. in Political Science, and Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C.
