Lauren Oken (she/her) is a member of the Halcyon development team. She manages Halcyon’s customer relationship management systems and works to ensure Halcyon’s partners remain engaged with the organization’s mission of accelerating the impact-driven future of business.
Prior to joining Halcyon’s team, Lauren consulted for a Singaporean disaster management company, after which she transitioned to United Cities, a United Nations-affiliated non-profit that partners with cities across the globe to implement the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). While there, she led a team in the creation of training modules to educate city officials regarding SDG evaluation, implementation, and grant writing.
Lauren holds a master’s degree in Management from Georgetown and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia. In her downtime, she can be found cooking, rereading the classics and wandering DC in search of the best Latin dance music.
