At Halcyon, Marcelo (he/him) supports the design and implementation of the programming for Fellows across the Incubator and Intensive programs. He works to create an environment where social entrepreneurs and their ventures can grow to be successful.

Before Halcyon, Marcelo worked with incubators and coordinated acceleration programs for startups in Brazil, helping develop knowledge-intensive businesses and connecting entrepreneurs with investors and global innovation ecosystems.

Marcelo has a BBA, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil. In addition, he has a BA in Communications and an MBA in Marketing Intelligence from Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing, also from Brazil.

In his free time, Marcelo attempts to play guitar or ukulele, walks with his dog Mac and likes to share random trivia facts.
