Maya Carpenter (she/her) is the program coordinator on Halcyons Incubator team.

Prior to Halcyon, Maya worked at the National Association for the advancement of Colored People (NAACP) within their national field operations team. Following her time at the NAACP, Maya obtained her Master’s degree in International Affairs and Development from Pennsylvania State University. During her Master’s program, Maya worked as an operations intern within a capacity-building non-profit organization in Cape Town, South Africa.

In her free time, Maya enjoys reading, going to concerts and visiting local restaurants with friends and family.
