Scarlett Ojeda
Scarlett Ojeda is the Finance Manager at Halcyon. Scarlett worked for the National Policing Institute for three years. Prior to joining NPI, Scarlett was the program coordinator for Friends of Puerto Rico, an NPO based in Washington D.C. which supports the economic development of the people of Puerto Rico through entrepreneurial initiatives, education, and the creation of opportunities for women and children.
Scarlett has several years of experience working in the finance field overseeing project budgets and tracking expenses, performing bookkeeping tasks, AP/AR processing, serving as a forensic accountant intern, credit card reconciliation, and working in QuickBooks and Bill.com. She completed the Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional (CNAP) Training in October 2022 and graduated in Spring 2020 from the University of the District of Columbia with a degree in Finance.
Scarlett has a native proficiency in Spanish from her childhood in Chile. She moved to the United States in 2013 to learn English and pursue her career.
