Noul has developed a fully automated digital microscopy platform for production of blood smears, staining, and analysis using image acquisition and artificial intelligence (AI) to diagnose malaria parasites. Noul was established in 2015 with a mission of exploring global challenges that threaten human health and life, discovering novel potential solutions, and realizing those possibilities. The platform enables faster and more accurate diagnosis of malaria through all-in-one technology that transfers the entire diagnostic laboratory into one single portable platform. Noul’s technology to diagnose malaria has huge potential to be applied to other communicable diseases such as tuberculosis and HIV, as well as various blood related disorders.
