Treeva
Treeva provides energy systems that can efficiently harness renewable energy from the airflow of passing cars, trains, and natural wind whilst withstanding severe turbulent conditions. It transforms energy that is usually uselessly dissipated into the surroundings into a renewable source. The turbines use readily available land and passing transport to provide renewable power that is reliable, affordable, and efficient. At just 2 meters tall, Treeva turbines are installed alongside transport infrastructure and provide off-grid energy, powering essential infrastructure such as street lighting, safety systems, maintenance depots, or EV charging. The turbines have twice the energy efficiencies of alternatives, from 12-17% to 34%. This results in a significant payback period, as well as providing predictable power based on the speed and frequency of trains or cars, for a reliable renewable energy source. Combining high efficiencies and reducing resource extraction, the turbines also save 3 times the carbon emissions as alternative vertical-axis wind turbines. Designed with recyclable, low-impact materials and re-using parts, Treeva turbines contribute to a waste-free world, and Treeva’s decentralized approach allows for localized energy generation, which reduces reliance on grid infrastructure in remote or urban areas.
