EcoPlastile

EcoPlastile is a registered Ugandan social enterprise, which accepts waste plastics as a form of financial resource for medical and education insurance and uses an innovative, chemical free and energy-efficient technology. It is called “waxy 2 technology” to manufacture plastic poles, lumbers, and tiles which replace expensive wooden timbers. EcoPlastile reduces plastic and marine pollution, deforestation rates, and the effects of climate change while simultaneously improving access to health facilities for marginalized communities in developing countries like Uganda.
