David T. Menachery, Vice President, Investment Management, Goldman Sachs
David T. Menachery is an Investment Advisor at Goldman Sachs. Dave advises high-net worth individuals, family groups, private companies and foundations on asset allocation, investment management and wealth planning. He works closely with entrepreneurs and founders of businesses.
Dave currently serves on the Advisory Board for Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management.He also serves on the advisory council for the Smithsonian Institution (APA Center).He has been a charter member of The Indus Entrepreneur DC Chapter and a member of the MIT Enterprise Forum.
Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Dave worked for Lutron Electronics Prior to his work at Lutron Electronics, Dave worked in the Prime Brokerage division at Morgan Stanley in New York.
Dave earned his M.B.A. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management and was awarded the Martin Trust Fellowship & Achievement Award for Leadership.
Previously, Dave was a board member for Jumpstart in Boston, MA. He also served on the MIT Sloan Inaugural Dean’s Advisory Council. He is actively involved in alumni activity for MIT Sloan and was elected as an Alumni Committee Chairman.
Dave received his B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He gained technology experience working for a financial service firm, a data storage company and a fiber optic startup.
He lives in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife Priya, son Neven and daughter Eva.
