Aia Abul-Haj is an award-winning engineer in solar energy, water treatment, and the environment. She has 10 years of experience in business development and project management. Aia graduated from Jordan University with an industrial engineering degree, and she is currently pursuing her MSc in Built Environment. Aia has earned local and international awards and has represented Jordan in 10 countries and many conferences. In addition, she has been chosen among 100 women around the world to participate in the Tech Women program in Silicon Valley in the USA. Aia is a Leader in Innovation Fellow with the Royal Academy of Engineering in the UK. She is interested in finding real solutions for communities’ challenges which lead her to establish SOLVillion which provides innovative engineering solutions in the field of water and sanitation and renewable energy. Aia also trained youth on business and entrepreneurship in many countries like, Jordan, Sudan, Turkey, and the US. According to Aia, engineering is her life style, education is her passion, love, simplicity, and knowledge are her techniques.
