Camilo Jose Herrera Diaz is a social entrepreneur with more than 17 years of experience. In 2011, he founded Un Litro De Luz®, a company focused on bringing energy, light and internet to communities in extreme poverty and conflict zones with low cost solar energy. In 2015, he received the MIT TR 35 title, recognizing him as one of the most important innovators under 35 in Latin America. He has an Honorary Doctorate in Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law. Camilo is also an Ashoka Fellow, and is included in the list of the 500 most influential people in Latin America according to Bloomberg.
