Danya Sherman is an entrepreneur passionate about combining human rights and technological innovation to create lasting, sustainable, social change. She is the founder and President of KnoNap, a company that works to inclusively empower, educate, and advocate against drug facilitated sexual assault and crime. KnoNap created Knope, a discreet, gender-inclusive detection device for date rape drug presence. Say Knope to drink spiking. She received an MBA from Georgetown University in STEM-Designated Management Sciences. Alongside participation with Halcyon’s Incubator Program, Sherman participated in distinguished fellowship programs with The Global Good Fund, Georgetown University, I-Corps, CVS Health, and Target Accelerator. She has been featured among Washington Life’s Technology Hall of Fame, DC Inno’s 25 Under 25 Brightest Young Innovators, Toyota’s Mother of Invention, and Forbes 30 Under 30.
