Emily Yu

Emily is a dedicated advocate for driving innovations that promote health and well-being for all individuals. With over 20 years of experience in strategy development, partnerships, communications, and technology for the greater good, she is actively working to revolutionize the way change is initiated in the public sector. As the Founder and CEO of AI Priori, INC., Emily harnesses the power of machine learning tools to empower change-makers, enabling them to access and engage with more relevant content than ever before. By doing so, they can effectively address society’s most pressing challenges with the speed and scalability required.

Before establishing AI Priori, INC., Emily held key leadership roles, including serving as the Executive Director of The BUILD Health Challenge® and as the Managing Director of Partnerships at the de Beaumont Foundation. During her tenure, Emily successfully raised a $10 million fund aimed at advancing health equity in over 55 communities throughout the United States. Through community-led and cross-sector collaborations, these partnerships yielded over 100 new legislative policies, organizational policies, and funding opportunities.

Emily’s outstanding contributions have earned her recognition and honors, including being selected as a 2020 Center for Community Investment Field Catalyst Fellow and a 2018 Terrance Keenan Institute Fellow. She has also served on the Grantmakers in Health Board and co-chaired the Asian American and Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy, D.C. Chapter. Emily holds an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a BS from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service.
