Fidele is the co-founder & CEO of FoodSight, a consultancy services online platform that empowers food businesses to simplify their food industry activities, and comply with local & international food safety & quality requirements, while connecting them to top free-lance talent and multinational service providers. She’s been named Lebanese Agripreneur of the year 2020-2021 and FoodSight has been named the “best Women-Led Food Tech business in the Middle East” for the MEA Business Awards 2021, in addition to other regional and international top rankings and recognitions. Before launching her own business at the age of 28, Fidele spent around 10 years in the Lebanese food industry working with private & public sectors, NGOs and local food associations, in food technology, quality assurance, project management, and inspections & audits on multiple systems (ISO, BRC, IFS, and AIB standards). She is a strong professional with a master’s degree focused in food technology and a BS in Biochemistry from the Lebanese University. With FoodSight, she is a trusted trainer, expert, and service provider with multiple ecosystem stakeholders, donors & NGOs, such as the Lebanon Export Academy by Berytech & UNIDO. Fidele also supports new businesses and startups in various sectors and from multiple countries as mentor, trainer and coach, on a one-on-one basis and as part of multinational programs, including the Rotaract Mediterranean Academy, Park Innovation push start with Rural entrepreneurs, Seedstars, and Big Booster. She is currently a member in multiple professional clubs & associations such as: LLWB-the Lebanese League for Women in Business, LAFST-Lebanese Association of Food Scientists & Technologists, WIOO-Women In Olive Oil Lebanon Chapter, and others. She is also a member and volunteer with social & humanitarian multinational NGOs: she is a humanitarian Global Goodwill Ambassador (GGA); member at NAAM, a women empowerment group from HOPE-MCF Foundation, past president of Rotaract Club of Byblos, Lebanon–Rotary international District 2452. She is passionate about learning & growing on both personal and professional levels, supporting communities, and humanitarian & social work, among many others.
