José Renato Lanzi Martini

José Renato Lanzi Martini is a passionate professional in the sustainable chemical sector, with a robust career spanning over ten years. His journey began as a Research and Development Manager in the chemical industry, where he identified critical inefficiencies ranging from logistics to process improvements. This insight led him to co-found a startup aimed at tackling environmental challenges, focusing on waste valorization, biotechnology, and the digitalization and automation of the chemical supply chain.

Martini is a graduate of the Universidade Estadual de São Paulo (UNESP) in Industrial Engineering. He has furthered his education with a Master’s in Business and Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), and specialized in entrepreneurship and innovation through programs at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), including the prestigious Innovation and Entrepreneurship Bootcamp. He has also taken part in acceleration programs offered by the National Science Foundation (iCorps) and NASA (BTOB). His international exposure includes exchange programs at Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule in Germany and École des Hautes Études Commerciales de Paris (HEC-Paris), enriching his global perspective and approach to business and innovation.

Currently, Martini serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Conatus Environmental Technologies. He is also a partner and consultant at Launchpad Enterprise Development, advising on innovation strategies.
