Julia Peng believes the key to solving the world’s greatest challenges lies in the intersection of entrepreneurial innovation and global policy. She founded VivaVax after realizing that a main barrier for many people is accessibility of healthcare. Peng was recently named to Canada’s The Next 36 Entrepreneurial Program, through which she worked full-time on VivaVax during the summer.
Peng earned a Bachelor of Science in economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She has spent the past few summers researching healthcare policy and global supply chains and previously held positions as a Junior Research Fellow at NATO Canada and a Summer Analyst at JP Morgan. Peng is from Canada and loves the outdoors.
