Menna Farouk

Menna Farouk is the Founder and CEO of Dosy. She works as a journalist for the Thomson Reuters Foundation, focusing on women rights, entrepreneurship and cybersecurity.

She completed a master’s degree in television and digital journalism at American University in Cairo, and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in business administration from the same university.

In 2022, she won the Media Leader title award from Entrepreneur Magazine and MasterCard for her work at the Thomson Reuters Foundation.

Being interested in writing about women rights, Farouk founded in 2019 Dosy, which is an online platform through which women and girls can book their scooter and bicycle classes online.

Through her startup, she created job opportunities for hundreds of women and girls in Egypt and empowered hundreds others on the streets.
