Mubarak Sumaila

Mubarak Sumaila is the CEO and Founder of BezoMoney, a fintech company that builds and provides digital financial products and services for the unbanked and for young individuals. He is a design thinking, business development, marketing and strategy expert with experience building teams, fundraising, and working with tech hubs and startups. He has worked on projects with organizations such as Enactus, AHK, GIZ, UNICEF, Design Thinking Ghana Hub, and Ashesi University Dlab. Mubarak holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Biology with a major in Biotechnology from the University of Development Studies in Ghana (UDS), a Product Manager Certificate from Digital Product School (DPS) in Munich, a Design Thinking practitioner Certificate from Hasso Plattner D-School in University of Cape Town (UCT), a Software Entrepreneurship Certificate from Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST). Mubarak is Fellow at Summit and a member of the Summit Impact Alumni Steering Committee.
