Patrick Aylward
Patrick Aylward is a co-founder of RemitRight, a comparison platform for international money transfers. Patrick has spent the last ten years working in international development primarily building systems to monitor billions of dollars of procurement and developing policies and interventions to increase access to essential medicines.
Patrick’s experience includes working for the World Health Organization, the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, and UNITAID. He is an expert on pharmaceutical markets and has authored a number of papers and strategy documents. In addition, Patrick worked for more than three years in Togo, West Africa serving as the first Field Director of Hope Through Health, a nonprofit providing free healthcare to more than 2,000 people living with HIV/AIDS. Patrick remains engaged with the work of Hope Through Health and is currently serving as the Vice President of the organization’s board of directors.
Patrick graduated with honors from the Yale School of Management and also holds an MSE in engineering from the University of Michigan.
