Sara Minkara is the President and Founder of Empowerment Through Integration, an international non-profit that integrates blind youth in developing countries into society. For her work with ETI, she won a Clinton Global Initiative Outstanding Commitment Award in 2009. From ETI, Sara brings with her experience in non-profit management, including budgeting and financial oversight, audits and State and federal filing, personnel management, and Board development. Sara is a Wellesley graduate with a BA in Economics and Math. She has a Masters in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School, where she was also a Dubin Fellow for Emerging Leaders at the Center for Public Leadership. She is also a Visiting Fellow at the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School. Her passion is disability empowerment and inclusion.
