
Tamara Chayo
Tamara Chayo is a student of Chemical Engineering at La Salle University. She has developed different scientific research hand in hand with the Institute of Chemistry of the UNAM and the National Polytechnic Institute for the sustainable innovation of drugs and different sustainable optimizations for the industry, respectively. Likewise, from an early age she has been part of social and environmental impact activities, being co-founder and leader of different groups.
She is co-founder and CEO of MEDU Protection, a Mexican startup that focuses on the production of sustainable medical apparel and being a pioneer in green medicine. MEDU Protection has received several international awards, including the Santander Award for Entrepreneurial Innovation. MEDU Protection was also recently recognized as one of the 18 most important ventures in LATAM by the Yunus and Youth.
