Vedette Gavin
Vedette Gavin is a public health leader and Case Western Reserve University instructor who has built successful community interventions to stem disparities. She is currently a Sheila C. Johnson Leadership Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government’s Center for Public Leadership. Prior to Harvard, Vedette led Healthy Eating Active Living, an award-winning community intervention engaging 2,200 residents of three Cleveland-area neighborhoods. Her work has been recognized by the American Public Health Association, and she has consulted governments in several states and the UK.
