GoPursue! envisions a world in which all young people see expansive career possibilities and have access to local mentors in any industry regardless of their pre-existing network. They are building an app to empower youth with knowledge and connections to pursue their ideal careers. With the priorities of exploration, minority representation, and mentorship, students will be able to witness the day-to-day of specific jobs and reach out to mentors to network and make connections. They are incubating this venture locally in the DMV because this region is home to one of the largest income gaps in the nation, which can be ameliorated using scalable technology and the right concept.
