Litro de Luz

Litro de Luz tries to solve two main problems: lack of energy, that according to the UN affects 740 million people (equivalent to all population of Europe), and the absence of internet, which impacts 2.9 billion people (as stated by weforum.org). The lack of electricity and internet are related to a new dimension of poverty that is called digital poverty. Litro de Luz is a decentralized solar energy company that operates in rural areas and conflict or post-conflict zones in Colombia and LATAM. They are the fastest, easiest, and cheapest way to bring public lighting, energy, and WiFi Internet to any place in the world. They are strategically aligned with Sustainable Development Goals 4, 7, 9, 10 and 11.
